WRITING

I write for businesses and individuals, professionally and creatively. I rely on my 20+ years in the business sector to provide you with perspectives and insights on various business issues that other writers may not have. I rely on my personal writing and editing experience to provide you with a unique voice when you have an idea but are struggling with words.

Before I start working on any new writing project, I take time to learn about you and your business/project. I will look at your website and your work, which allows me to get to know your audience, your clients, and your competition. Proactively researching your topic/subject ensures that I am knowledgeable about the content needed to create winning copy and position you for the SUCCESS I know you’re capable of!

Business Writing

Having spent 20+ years in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry, I know the technical jargon and the endless acronyms included in writing for engineers, architects, construction managers, planners, and surveyors. Other writers may not know the meanings of industry acronyms such as CAD, MEP, ROW, MOT, GIS, LiDAR, CIP, ADA, DB, VE, and QA/QC—but I do! And if I come across an acronym I don’t know, I will research the initialism and take the time to learn about the subject/topic.

Proficiency is critical to communicate effectively in the workplace and with clients, existing or potential. I have the keen ability to reduce the complexity of technical jargon to make information accessible to all readers/users. I am an experienced business writer and I can polish your words so you shine!

Summarized below are four categories I consider for business writing and examples of what I write for businesses. Let’s chat to determine which category your project requires, considering that more than one category may be necessary for the same project. Send an inquiry on my Contact page with brief details, and I will set up a call to discuss options.

Creative Writing

Creative writing involves imagination. It requires developing text in various formats to engage and inspire your audience. It can also involve persuasive writing to convince or influence your reader.

I write from imagination and personal experience. I have a sense of wonder, I am addicted to creativity (this is a good thing!), and I write enthusiastically for varying audiences and genres. I provide creative writing for marketing content, storytelling, biographies, memoirs, essays, speeches, and more!

Most of my creative writing is for non-fiction works, but if you have an idea for a fiction project that you think is a perfect fit for my writing, let’s talk about it. Send an inquiry on my Contact page with brief details, and I will set up a call to discuss options.

Currently, I do not advertise ghostwriting services, but if you have a project that you think is a perfect fit for my writing, let’s talk about it. Send an inquiry on my Contact page with brief details, and I will set up a call to discuss options.

I look forward to writing for you and supporting your SUCCESS!
